How to care for your jewellery

Follow these tips to keep your jewellery in tip-top condition:

1. Do not allow pieces to come into contact with each other or with other items that may leave scratches (keys, coins, etc.).
2. Do not allow pieces to come into contact with corrosive substances, such as acids, bleach, alkaline salts, perfume, and so on.
3. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or other light sources.
4. Clean with warm water, a small amount of pH-neutral soap and a 100%-cotton cloth.

Even with care, silver oxidises on contact with the air and tends to go black or yellow. In these cases, follow the care instructions below to keep silver and other materials looking their best.
