CONRAD ROSET

Jun. 06, 2013 · Style

We met him at the recent edition of the Nits event in Girona and it was a real pleasure. Conrad Roset is not one of those illustrators who swan about like artistic superstars. He’s a normal guy who just happens to create amazing illustrations. His Muses just fascinate us! Drawing has been a passion and a constant feature in Conrad’s life ever since he and his brother used to play together drawing everything that took their fancy, and now years later he has been inspired by women to create the Muses, his most personal collection. He trained at the Joso School and the faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. Thanks to the dissemination of his illustrations on the internet he started working for Zara where, he says, he honed his trade and studied the different styles of leading illustrators. Shortly afterwards he launched himself as a freelance illustrator, since when he has worked for various brands, advertising agencies and publishers. He has exhibited in several galleries and museums including the MOCA in Virginia, SopkeArt in San Francisco and the London Milles gallery. He also lectures on illustration at the BAU Design School. In short, he’s a powerhouse who exudes art through every pore. Keep on surprising us, Conrad!
