Our jewelry almost feels like it belongs in a museum. Why? Because we design our pieces in collaboration with artists, because many of our collections are inspired by the works of some of the best contemporary artists, and because they are available in the shops of some of the world’s most prestigious museums, like the MNAC in Barcelona. Have you never been? We highly recommend a visit; you’ll absolutely love it! The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is located in one of Barcelona’s most historic sites, the Palau Nacional of Montjuïc, constructed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition. It’s worth visiting simply to take in the amazing building and the views of the city.
The majesty of the building is worthy of the works of art it houses: in its rooms you’ll discover the best collection of Romanesque mural paintings in the world, as well as the legacy of some of the artists that best represent Catalan Modernisme, such as Antoni Gaudí and Ramon Casas. Pieces of Gothic art, paintings by the greatest European Renaissance and Baroque painters like Titian and Velázquez, and a collection of 40,000 photographs from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries round out this museum, which will captivate you from start to finish. At the moment the MNAC is hosting three temporary exhibitions—on Bermejo, Alphonse Laurencic, and pop and other new artistic movements—that you won’t want to miss out on. The museum’s shop, full of objects and gifts inspired by pieces from the museum’s collections, is similarly unmissable. Books, stationery, ceramics, glass, textiles and, of course, Joidart jewelry that has been exclusively selected thanks to its originality, personality and conceptual link to the city of Barcelona. It is a privilege for our brand to be able to share such an important artistic space, where our creations reaffirm their value as contemporary pieces. If the museum is too far away for you to visit in person, you can also do so virtually at In addition, you can find our jewelry online at and in stores. … Some other art spaces where you can find Joidart creations: Casa Batlló – Barcelona La Pedrera – Barcelona Parc Güell – Barcelona Sagrada Família – Barcelona Fundació Joan Miró – Barcelona Caixaforum Madrid – Madrid Museo Reina Sofía – Madrid Museo De Bellas Artes De Bilbao – Bilbao Mad Museum Ny – New York Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum – Boston Philadelphia Museum Of Art – Philadelphia Royal Academy Of Arts – London J.
