MINTA, JEWELLERY IN ABSTRACT FORMS
Jun. 03, 2015 · Creations
The Minta jewellery collection, designed by Anna Codina, features a strong sculptural component. Inspired by the kinetic art of Russian sculptor, Naum Gabo, whose work dates from the first half of the twentieth century and is based on the aesthetics of movement.
Each Minta piece has been hand-crafted in the Joid'art workshop using the
lost-wax casting technique. These small organic structures are the result of a meticulous creative process, each one formed by two undulating, interlocking faces that stand independently (in rings or earrings) or form compositions (necklaces and bracelets).
Available in two finishes: matte silver and matte gold metal. In both cases the light dances off the polished edges creating intriguing nuances of light and shade.
The Minta range of sculptural jewellery is available online at joidart.com and in Joid'art shops.
