ZITA, REMARKABLE STRUCTURES

Apr. 30, 2014 · Creations

Zita, the new collection for SS14 designed by Sara Domènech consists of striking structure inspired by early 20th-century avant-garde art. Its elegant, linear, creative forms take us to singular artistic universe. Each piece is made in the Joid'art workshop from circular scraps of metal cut out by hand and folded to form the structures that characterise the collection. The technique is reminiscent of origami, only it uses metal. Zita comes in two hand-scratched finishes: matte silver, the more sober and restrained of the two, goes with any look with a touch of silver; matte gold, more summery and lively, is ideal with light colours and retro accessories. With these ideas as your starting point, you can add your own personal touch to create unique looks. The necklaces, bracelets and long earrings are the most iconic items in the collection.
