SENDA BY BERTA RIERA

Aug. 14, 2019 · Creations

The latest AW19 Minves creations come together in a mosaic of collections that inspire a feeling of balance and give rise to a sensory ecosystem that we will reveal to you little by little.

Today we are turning the spotlight on Senda, a collection created by jewelry designer Berta Riera. The collection's pieces conceptually trace the whimsical contours of thin bush stems from which succulent wild fruits hang every fall.

Senda is a stroll through the woods. A chromatic journey towards the colors and hues of fall. A quiet evening surrounded by trees. The pieces include earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets featuring shapes inspired by the natural contours of the forest. Try one of them on to add that unique something special to your favorite looks.

Berta Riera has given new life to the branches of these pieces by using sinuous "little sticks" in matte silver or 24-karat gold-plated gold metal. At the heart of every branch, our artisans have hand-placed little balls of claret or turquoise green Murano glass (for the pieces in silver and the pieces in gold, respectively) that give the jewelry a polished look and a one-of-a-kind character.

You can find Senda and the rest of the already available AW19 collections in-store or online. Take a peak and start getting ready for the new season!

The jewellery designer Berta Riera studied art, design and jewellery at the Escola Massana Art and Design Centre in Barcelona and the École Boulle art school in Paris. She has worked in a number of jewellery workshops, combining this with developing her own brand, with which she has participated internationally in exhibitions and trade fairs. She has also created fashion accessories for brands such as Massimo Dutti, Mango, Carolina Herrera, Uterqüe, Desigual and Pepe Jeans.
